Breaking News!
The RYA, who are authorised by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency to issue certificates and licenses in the UK, have announced that from March 2010, all UK National PowerBoat Level II Pass Certificates, will be registered with a CENTRAL DATABASE.
In addition, all those who pass the Level II course will be issued with the new-style license and will require a passport-sized photograph.
This move will be the first of its kind, in that the RYA do not keep central records of pass certificate holder for any other courses.
The move has been linked with suggestions that Government legislation to regulate and license leisure marine users, could be much closer than many think.
